After running a design studio in Tokyo, RYO founded BLOOMIN’ KIDS in Fukuoka in late 2024. His work connects children’s art with design, programs and collaborative projects with companies and local governments.

Born in Mexico and raised in Portland, USA, MELISA studied biology and came to Japan as an international student at the University of Tsukuba. Through hands-on art lessons, she supports children’s individuality and self-expression.

From Nancy, France, LILOU studied art history at the University of Lorraine’s graduate school. Alongside her research into the relationship between art and society, she supports children’s creativity at BLOOMIN’ KIDS.
